hi

I recodier my moviez how it is described in
http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ra-guide.htm

I normaly recodier only the main movie without the extras
but i don't like it that i can select the things i have stripped.

Can i somehow extract the vts1_0 with the mainmovie
I recodier the mainmovie and when reauthorist makes the scrip
that in the scrip is also the menustuff and the movie
so that i can rebuild the menu how I like.

I have tried to add. the menu into scenarist and then add. the script from reauthorist but it down't workt

has someone an idea how i can do it?

if it is not very good to understand
i want to excuse because
I'm from germany and can't express it very well

thx

I'm looking at doing much the same thing for one of my DVDs, though it looks like it might be a lot of work. I may decide to just use DVDShrink, suffer the quality loss, and be done with it.

Anyway, I don't think DIF4U and RA have reached the point where they support demuxing and re-authoring of the menus. That would be a fairly daunting thing to implement (though admittedly really cool). I think we'll have to author the menus completely by hand. However, as you suggest, I think we can use the RA generated Scenarist script (and the DIF4U and DCCE4U generated assets) as a starting point. That *will* save a fair amount of work.

I've read that VOBSnoopy can demux the assets from the VTS VOB, but I don't have VOBSnoopy, so I'm planning to use screen captures as described in Doom9's authoring guide for Scenarist.

i have tried some other programms too
the best of it was clonedvd by elby but it
can't reach the very good quallity from this way.

I don't want to lose the comfort of reauthorist
I only want to do with the menu how I can do with
the mainmovie, etc

If your trying to rebuild the menu to shrink it use a new util called NuMenu which will rebuild the menu files then you proceed as normal

I know
but as i wanted to test it, it don't showed me
all all languages of the menu.
There schould be 3 languages (English/German/Spain)
and i wanted English and German to keep but it only
showed me the English part

I think you can demux your menuvob using vobedit.
