I'm sure I've got the codecs installed and I'm using TMPGenc Plus, registered. Often, when I encode an AVI file, part way through the resultant MPEG1 file, the sound craps up - it breaks up. It's at different times through the file and doesn't always last until the end - it can sometimes clear up before the end.
It doesn't always happen. I can encode a file and the sound will be crappy, then encode it again a couple of times and in the end the sound might be ok.
