So what does everyone think of RIAA's press release that they are gonna go after the individual users. I think it's the biggest load of bull.
The reason i download mp3s is the fact that i listen mostly to european dance music, mostly dutch and german trance. Most of that music is never even released on cds and i don't have a turntable in my home/car (places where i mostly listen to music) that I can play the vinyl. A tiny selection of "Techno" music in most retail stores is so mediocre that I can't find anything that I am looking for, and trust me I looked. I tried the online stores but most of them have outrageous prices because the cds are what they call imports and they charge 30-40 dollars per cd. I know that all these reasons don't justify my "stealing" of music. But hey if there were stores that would sell newest songs online with good CD quality that I can burn later on onto a cd for private listening for a reasonable price i would rather pay for them there.
