questions from Pal User about Docce switch

I notice that somes switches are not configured like describe in french forum

Is someone here who can say us where is the truth ?

For a Pal conversion i have :

lum level =0 to 255 (french boards say us to put it on 16 to 235)
close gops= yes (no for frenchies)
n=3 m=4 (frenchies says us for a pal dvd you must put n=3 m=5)

so what could i think about this ?

Hm, I uses exactly the same for PAL DVD like the french forum :)

And I never had any problems.

close GOP YES is for multiangle only.

n=3 m=4 should also work for dvds.

I also read somewhere that "close all gops" is needed for multiangle.

DoCCE4U activates that by default.

However, I didn't recognize any problems on "non-multiangle encoding" with that.
