 Any pointers.

Movie - Apocalypse Now.

Ripped to my h/drive. Open up IFOedit and play DVD. The first screen is a language select. Click on English and it takes you into the FBI warning screen before moving into the Main menu screen. IFO edit says it's still sitting in the Title set menu part of the disc.

If I've understood correctly, 2 Cool's guide suggests the following - " Your video resides in your movie titleset. Assuming your movie is VTS_01_*, then your video is most likely to be a VOB-ID in your VTS_01_0.IFO/VMG Overview/Menu Language Unit. View each one and when you find your trailer, delete playback on your VOB-ID "

I've also looked at a guide on www.solidvob.com that suggested I go through each Vob ID on the main movie Vob i.e VTS_01_1 and preview each vob ID.

Have read the guides on IFOedit and Vobrator.... I've been through every Vob Id using Vobrator in Videos_TS and VTS_01_1 and using IFOedit I've previewed every different menu page full of different languages but I'm damned if I can find the Copyright / FBI page..

Can anyone help? Am I looking in the wrong IFO files??

Thanks

Either of your sources may be correct. It is common practice to include stills in the menu structure. However it can easily be incorporated in the movie's title set.

Pls remember that u r looking for a 10 sec clip. Since u have looked in all possible locations, I have to assume that it is encoded as part of another pgc. This way is much more difficult to find.

Not strange...Just learning ( Very slowly )

Think I'll try another title and see what I can remove from it..

No doubt another question will follow.

Cheers

Don't understand why but realised about 5 minutes ago that the Preview button was " previewing " the highlighted language menu unit. When I clicked preview it was bringing up the movie . Then realised that by double clicking on the Language Menu units you could view each one - the exact thing i thought preview was doing..

Found and removed the copyright warning screen. and the extra languages and the extra menus...

Thanks for the help..and thanks to 2Cool for the guides..
