req: Roba / Robshot method for mortals

Hi,

I'd like to understand the Roba (and similar methods) and have looked at the tutorials on the doom9 site. They usually lose me abot 75 % into the processes.

Does anyone have a guide with more explanation in the tutorial for mere mortals?.

also these techniques are quite old, has there been any amazing new techniques discovered or are they still as pertienent now as they were then? (updates etc).

Whats the current "fav" method, I take it the Robshot, Roba are the same (roba is better i think?) or maybe there is a a new RobXXX method which reighns supreme?

not sure where the robshot site has gone, but the CCE guide (in modified form) is in the guides section, the RoBa method is really just a modified Robshot method by Bach.

the guides were written for CCE 2.50, and are still relevant for the 2.6x versions of CCE, as long as you read the manual and understand the couple of interface differences.

the CCE method is rather advanced, so its probably best to read the manual and follow the first part of the guide to get a better understanding of how CCE works before hitting the advanced button (its labeled advanced for a reason).
