Dear Sir,

I have made a DVD on Spruce. It has a company Logo in First play. Then Motion menus with subtitle option on it.It is in DVD9 format. It is a 3hours of movie. It also has 5.1 audio taken from DTRS tapes.

Now since some other company has taken the same movie they want to Author it again. They want their own Logo in First play and change the menus on it.Rest of the things remain same.

Instead of Re Authoring the movie is there any way of retriving information from my previous DVD9 disc, change the Menus,Logo and making a new DLTS.(DVD9)

Thanking You.

Changing the logo mustn't be that hard especially if it is in his own vob set. But changing the menus and incorporating them in the existing stucture is a tricky situation since the new project must have an identical structure to the original for the menus to merge seamlesly.

It is much safer and quicker to demux the movie and re-author.

for demuxing u can try vobedit, vobrator, tmpeg, graphedit (this is a hard one).

I would suggest to visit the Maestro Guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/maestro.htm) and while there read about the rest of the authoring guides.

Depending on your material, DVDlab might be a good and affordable choice as well Tmpeg DVD Author.
