I've a avi movie with 640 x 480px. I use TMPGEnc to convert this file to mpeg2 (m2v)/dvd/ntsc (720x480), but when I go to see the film in my tv, the image seems cut and I don't see the extremities. How can I fix it?

Thanks

Tv sets use overscan, that is crop a 10% of the picture outer edges to fully fill the screen. If u want evey pixel showing u should resize to 90% of the target size and fill the rest with a black border for the set to crop

u can use avisynth, adobe after effects, Premiere.

if u r skilled in avisynth, I think its the best choice.
In After effects its easy, so I ve been told, but never done it

In Premiere u lay out a black clip all the duration and use the move function to define a move with the same start and finish point as well as the enlargment. Pretty much like the trick to create a motion menu.
