Hi,
In fact subject is more "VobID-rip movies" but 007 is a good example.
i am sure that VobId process in Reauthorist is one of the final goal, but as an intermediate feature, it would be really nice if RA can create track with audio & subs for Scenarist from a per-VobID rip from DIF4U.
In 007 there are 63 vob id with 15 subs each time. Subs are in fact only eng,fre & Netherlands but cut in several parts along differents ID.
What a nightmare to put back everything manually into scenarist.
I just wonder if RA will manage that in next version, or if someone has a trick to help subs import into scenarist.

Hi klona,
Yes you are right - it will save a bit of pain... When I start work on my vobid version, this will be one of the first things that I'll do. I imagine I will release this functionality as a beta at some point, so keep your eyes on the web site for more updates.

Ok. it's great. No problem if it take a bit of time. Achieved RA is already a great piece of soft, as we dreamed abour (Remember first time you talk about in the forum, I told you something like "great idea but huge work. good luck".
and you did it.

I concur. I just did Animatrix R1, with a vobid demux for PGC1, which consisted of 20 vobids, with more vobids having two english substreams: 0x20 and 0x26 (can someone explain to me the significance of the 0x26 stream? I kept it, but when I view it, I see basically the same thing as the 0x20 stream, with a couple of different words?!).
I had to create 5 dummy sub .ssts, then basically put 7 sub streams into each track. Took quite a while, and the end result is marvelous, but I can see how the request described above would sure help in the interim! Boy I'm glad there wasn't 63 vobids! I was exasperated by the time i reached vobid #20!

I must agree on this one too. Some animation studios do everything by vobid for some reason, not just the main movie but also the extras. I have had cases with 90 vobids for the main movie, 50 for just on extra and about 25 pgcs per title. It's so much work setting up all those tracks, especially if you want subs.
Maybe it's possible to add an option to create tracks within reauthorist, not based on the ifo file, but just based on the naming of files found in the demux directory? You won't have dummy files then, but all you would have to do is manupilating your ifo after compiling.
