Hi, i'm mostly new to DVD/SVCD/VCD scene ... i have recently got my DVD burner, and that got me really interested ... i have found out, that the programs i (think) are better for DVD 2 DVD-R are DVDShrink and DVD2One ... by better i mean most balanced on power and friendlyness ... (anyway i can get some advise here) ... i'm also now trying to start backing up into SVCD/VCD onto CDs, as some times, the content does not justifies a DVD-R, and i was wondering, which are the 2/3 best (most balanced on power and friendlyness) to convert a DVD to SVCD and VCD? Also, does it make sence to do a VCD, instead of a SVCD? Thanks.

PS: i have been told that DVDx is very good ...

this forum is for the program DVD2SVCD which is the ONLY tool you need to make perfect SVCD's from your DVD's. Of course you have to have an encoder. Most people choose CCE. This thread is closed since it is off topic.
