I'm a month late in seeing this, but since I happened upon the information, I thought some Doom9 members might also be interested:

so adobe is finally going to have a proper audio editing program?, its about time ;)

by the time adobe gets to v10 of its programs, it could roll them up into one tightly knitted ball of yarn that even cleans the house for you.

Not before they've TOTALLY recoded Premiere - the underlying code has been patched and scaffolded to the point of exhaustion at the present time.

After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop are great though.
