Writing 700mb VCD with IC7

I've been writing DVDs successfully and wanted to try a VCD. The problem is that IC7 wants to write to an 800mb CD whatever settings I use. Unfortunately I only have 700mb disks. Could someone with more experience on the VCD side let me know what I'm doing wrong? Very many thanks in advance.

you can fit 800 Mb of video on a 700MB cd-r if it's in (s)vcd format. i assume you get a iso file of some kind. just try burning it with nero. it shouldn't be a problem (:

on the other hand. if you really want to get into doing (S)VCDs - although i highly doubt you'll apreciate the VCD quality after doing DVDs - try DVD2SVCD. i think it will yield better results than IC7
