Hi there

I have been trying to get DVD Shrink working but run into the same error each time and with each version. The issue is that when DVD shrink finishes analyzing the DVD it crashes.

My dear drWatson tells me there is an access violation. I tried it time and time again using the administrator account, my main user account, changing access rights to the DVD Shrink directory but I can't figure it out.

I have checked the forum for this problem but I can't find any previous references to this problem.

So who can help me out??

this is with every dvd you've tried?
You've ripped it to .iso with dvdecrypter no problems?

Hello mrBass

Yes, I tried this with every DVD (I don't have that many).

They are DVD+R disks created on a Philips DVD-Recorder and they can be ripped in iso-mode using DVD Decrypter 3.1.6.0
But yes there is a problem with the ripping, at the end (99%) of the ripping, the DVD Decrypter can't finish the ripping properly, giving read errors and finally stopping all together. If I just break it off at that point, the resulting ISO-file is still usable with a computer DVD-player.

Do you suspect the problem is in my DVD-disks more then in the DVD Shrink software?
