I ran dvd2dvd-r following the guide on mr bass' page. When I got up this morning the log file said that it had completed the encoding with CCE and then it was going to run the pulldown but it couldnt find the file. I looked in the folder and the encoded movie wasnt there.

I ran CCE myself and ended up with a .m2v file. Then I was going to use the dopulldown tool on it but when I try to use that its looking for a .mpv file.

Im just wondering what step that I am missing here or if someone knows whats going on.

Any help is appreciated.

Jason, I had the exact same problem. First, read this:

As it turns out, the default directory created by DVD2DVD-R is NOT called "New Volume". Windows put that label on my hard drive when I had formatted it, and DVD2DVD-R just created directory based on the hard drive label, the date, and the time. All I had to do to fix it was to relabel my hard drive to "New_Volume" and now everything works fine. :)
