how to draw a "dot" in the top corner ?

this sound like a silly question but i hope someone could help me :)
i want to add a dot in the top corner of a frame is there a way (perhaps using subtitle) to add a shape at desired x, y ?

You're best bet would be to look for a logo filter. You would also be able to do this with layer, but I don't know how to make a circle/shape (other than a square/rectangle). I know that AviSynth can do it because sh0dan gave a great example (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45732&highlight=avisynth+logo) for an AviSynth logo suggestion.
