Tried a full backup on the latest's James Bond movie and it worked just fine.

I use dvd decrypter to rip mavie for ISO, but can't daemon tool to mount image. It shows that it is mounted, but fab wont run. Any ideas on what programs to use with fab, and a guide on how to use them?

Their website has some instructions. You can't use the image file for dvdfab, you need to rip all the files in file mode of dvddecryptor then run dvdfab on it.

I used an image ISO file created with dvd decryptor then mounted the image using Virtual CD and DVDfab worked fine.

Do you always use this method, even when using ifoedit? Can you use ifoedit with a mounted image file?

I'm trying to do the Copy Complete Movie function in dvdfab 0.15 and after I hit process, I get "Can't Copy Ifo From Source", then "an error occured: can't open file(00001000)" I'm trying to do this off the entire ripped movie from file mode. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with the latest version. i went back to the beta3 version.

You're right, in Beta 3 it does work. Thanks! I see there's a 0.15.1 vesion now too, but I don't see that being fixed in the history text so I assume it's there in that one too.

What is the best burning program to use to burn after using decrypter in file mode? I have Nero and alcohol 120%. Do I just copy everything in the folder to compilation and burn to disk?

I ran Fab after decrypter and got my disk 1 and disk 2 folders, but need to know how to burn back to a DVD+R!

You should be able to use Nero, close the Wizard and choose DVD-Video in the other menu choices. Then copy all files into the VIDEO_TS Folder in Nero. That's it, burn.

I have my first movie dvdfab didn't work on. Disney's Treasure Planet. Stripped main movie only with it, came to 4.07 gb. The whole movie appears to be there, but there are pauses throughout the whole movie. I'm not sure why.

That sucks Treasure planet doesn't work, I will have to try it with +rw later. I hate to support dvdxcopy, but it worked just fine with Treasure Planet. Hopefully you were just using poor media, will post later on what I find.

One qustions, is there a lot of pauses? Or just a few? Are they at the special features commentary parts (the video commentary segments?) and do you have to unpause or press play, or are you talking about layer change type of pauses?

Yeah, I just did main movie only with dvdxcopy and it works fine. I don't think it was the media. I got the pauses with ifoedit and dvdfab, but not dvdxcopy and I used the same media for all 3. I believe it did the pauses at every chapter point. I'm sure dvdfab will get all the bugs worked out soon though.
