Help needed to create a boxing DVD

I have a BUNCH of fights on my harddrive that need to be archive. Most of them are MPEGS and some are AVIs.

My question is do i need to convert the mpegs? I have tested both the AVIs and MPEGS and just threw them into ULEAD Movie Factory and they both play on my DVD player. :confused: :confused:

i believe that ULEAD Movie Factory decides itself if it is needed,
you could search for an option like "don´t change compatible MPEG-
streams" (saw it in ULEAD DVD WS, but MF should have it too)
