Hi,

DVDShrink 2.3 doesn't work with Windows Millenium??
It just doesn't run... No errors, no messages...

Previous versions worked fine...

I suspect it is the same problem I have with Win98. With version 2.0 a dialog box would popup saying that oleacc.dll was missing. With version 2.1 that message disappeared, and it simply would not run. It runs fine on NT core systems (Win2K and XP).

download it again from my site. Not sure doom9 has updated his copy as their were two version of 2.3. Plus his email may still be down unfortunately.

dvdshrink posted this:

"Ah - I was hoping nobody would notice!

There were actually two versions of DVD Shrink 2.3, about one hour apart. The first would not run on win98, hence the second. The second update to doom9 must have gotten lost somewhere, I'll send it again."

Yes, that's it. New version works fine.

Thanks for the info.

Hi - I downloaded 2.3 from Mr Bass site just now and I can't get it to work in Win 98.

I have that oleacc.dll but still no joy.... :(

Same here (I grabbed the dll from another system). But it's no big deal for me, I'll just use Win2K.

dvdshrink sent me dvdshrink2.3all.zip or something like that. People complained about it not working in win98 on dvdrhelp thread. After I uploaded that one instead of using the mirror2 off of dvdr-digest then a few said that worked for them.
