I think they took a really great ap and messed it up. It is so difficult to use now. I have tried everything and cannot get it to work.
The old one was easy to use and made a great movie. YOu didnt have to be a rocket scientist to understand it and make it work. Now a days with the number of easy to use aps out you would think this one would be improved.
Can anyone tell me how to get the new ap off my computer so I can go back to the old one.
Thanks

How dare you post a message saying that lenox and other have messed up GK. Lenox and many others have spents HOURS and HOURS working on GK and have made a product that it was better then the orignal (GK was bloody good anyway) they have spent lots of time improving the functionality of the program and have made it much more user friendly. I and prob many other people have found the new version have made makeing DIVX movies a lot easier and faster. There are now fewer option that need to be changed everytime you encode.

You should think before you post slandering a product.

If you have a problem in using GK then post a question asking how to slove it, instead of says that its rubbish and they shouldn't of changed it.
If you dont like the new version then use the old one but let me guess you want to use divx 5.xx which the old version didn't support but does now due to many hours of extra work.

In answer to your question go to the options tag and click delete reg keys. Then delete the folder with GK in.

Then **** off.

thank you for your unconstructive reply. I do not need you to cuss at me for having my own opinions.
I have posted my problems and my log file. With no success.
I have heard that there are some things that were left out of this new ap. I followed the guide to the letter and it doesnt work. The last ap was alot easier.
now if you are so good at this why dont you read my post with my log file and give me something constructive. If you cannot then please dont bother to reply.

yeah... here we go...

For the future - if your intention is to make developer feel guilty about your problem so that he immediately starts solving it - it won't work... Crying out loud here and in PM will not do any good either. Ppl here are very competent, so there is no need to accuse someone of not helping. (not everybody reads the forum on an hourly basis anyway...)

P.S. and the name of the thread - c'mon, nobody here is interested in your thoughts and as Doom said you're not helping yourself.

i beg to differ that my reply was "unconstructive" as i did tell you how to remove GK from your system. I still think that you are wrong to post a commont saying you think the new version is messed up its not needed and it send the wrong signals to the creators who spend the free time creating these programs
