How can I Rip the subtitle from my DVD without ripping the Video and Audio ?
(I don't have much space on my HD).

I'm interesting only the subs file ! (which contain the all subtitles languages).

I heard that it can be done with SmartRipper or DVDDecryptr or VobSub ? is this correct?
Anyway I don't know How exactly (If possible at all) to configure to Disable Video\Audio Ripping and rip only the Subs.

I'm looking for a software that can RIP espicially the all Star Trek DVD series (all 10 movies) from 1 - Motion Picture to 10 - Nemesis.

Can you help me with that ?

DVD Decrypter:
*IFO mode -> the right side of the GUI shows the VOBs by default, above you have two tabs "iput" and "stream processing" -> switch to stream processing, now you see only like "0x... Video", "0x... audio English", "0x.. Subtitles French" right? -> check the checkbox "enable stream processing" and deselect all the streams you dont need, leving only you subtitle. Specials, done proceed like normal (select target directory and GO :)

The result of this Op will be a .IFO and a .VOB with only the subs in it. Proceed with these as usual (OCR in SubRip, VSRip whatever...)

(I'm not sure but there sure were guides for this, this looks pretty basic ^^)

Another question:

Do you know what is the size that I need to get from the subtitle file? (VOB+IFO)
I heard that it's should be about 1 or 3 megabyte, correct ?

i don't know what is normal...
i just figured and tested this out for you :P i usually rip the entrie content of DVD.
Anyway the IFO is a fixed size and small.
The VOB which actually contains the Subtitles obviously depends on length of movie/how much text -> im my case i got a 20mb file for a 88 minute movie (ca 750 subtitles) a bit more than you heard, but still OK compared to several giga if you were to rip the video too :)

if you meant the size for the OCRed text file resulting from SubRip (.srt) ...that will be in the range of 100kb for an avarage movie

This request seems out of topic for this forum.

Unless you have already verified that all the Star Trek series have been released with Hebrew subtitles, your expectation for getting them all through DVD rips is misplaced. Make sure to do your research first. Do your research properly, and you'll know how to get Hebrew subtitles even when they do not exist on any DVD. (Hint: Try a fansub'ing and script trading forums. Don't know how to find them? Try watching a recent fansub'ed anime like Tokyo Mew Mew, or using a search engine to locate fabsub'ing rings.)
