Does anyone know how you use a GIF as a menu in Ulead ? I've d/l the patch so i've got version 1.3 but when I import the Gif and I click finish to see how it came out all I get is the first still frame and the sound !!!

I suppose you mean an animated gif ? Ulead does not support this, and indeed treats it like the first frame found in the animated gif. (Animated gif's are just a sequence of frames.)
In order to do what you want to do, you'd have to convert the animated gif to AVI first, and then you should be able to use it in Ulead. (I don't know Ulead that good. Does it support animated menu's ? Personally I use other programs to author DVD's with animated menu's...)
You can convert gif's to avi using various programs. Just search in google for "gif to avi convert"
