I have the FoxDVD Demo Disc #1 (freebie from Best Buy a couple of years ago) which includes the THX Optimizer.

It's easy to pull that portion with DVD2AVI.

However, all the control logic is gone.

I've never tried anything this complex and I'm stumped. There are, maybe 40 static images with menuing to navigate among them.

Is there a way to "lift" the navigational logic as well as the video stream and keep it intact? If so, it should be possible to make a DVD contented CDR with just this configuration package.

A CDR like that would only play on systems that support MiniDVD. (or a PC) :(

Try ripping the entire disk in File Mode of DVDDecrypter, then just delete the vobs out of the directory that contain things you dont want to keep (but be sure to keep the VTS_0X_0.vobs, only delete VTS_0X_1, 2, etc.), and keep the configuration thing. Then, open Video_TS.ifo in IFOEdit, Correct VTS Sectors, Save. And then, you could use MenuEdit to disable all the other menu entries so that only the configuration thing would work. And then, I believe you would have a working copy with all of the logic intact, etc.
