Hi all -

I want to transfer my SVCD's (still on hdd in mpg format) to DVD. I had no idea tho that it would be so involved. As far as I can tell, I need do all this:

1) Demux the mpg
2) Convert/reencode the audio to 48000mhz
3) Remux the audio/video
4) Patch the header and resize to DVD compliant
5) Author DVD

This process will take forever : / Are there any shortcuts ... or
what I really would like to find is a front end program that will automate steps 1 - 4 : )

Any thoughts / tips ???

Thank you !!
John

One more for you is Uleadīs Media Studio:

when you start it, choose a DVD-template, load your SVCD-mpg
in the timeline and click on "create"

Thatīs it for your steps 1-4.
