View Full Version : Srt2Avs
Not too sure how useful this tool will be, but I made it anyway because I needed to make a few VCD's with funky subs, it's just basically a tool to automatically generate subtitles for an AviSynth script from a SubRip file, you can customise the font/size/color, source code included:
Srt2Avs.zip (27k) (http://www.netspace.net.au/~leo/zips/Srt2Avs.zip) enjoy! :)

Very good idea :sly:
a little problem:
The program locks up if i open a color tagged srt file; all is going well with plain srt files.
color tagged?! I was not aware any formatting could be applied to srt subs, could you post an example and I'll fix up any bugs associate with the problem.

To have an example simply open subrip, rip a vob with subtitles (specify bold/italic/underline text), then go to subtitle output format and choose srt format and check the 2 optional checks.
The tags are for: bold, italics, underline, color, subtitle's screen positioning.
Tell me if you meet problems with it, i'm also coding a vb application that handles various format's subtitles :)
