ATI 9700 Pro and Kvcd

Has anybody here dealt with KVCD or KDVD? If so I was wondering if it would be possible to capture directly into these formats using this ati card? I have done a couple of captures and converted them to KDVD and with pretty darn good quality, I put 9 hours of video onto one dvd-r, The problem is the converting. I would be greatful if someone knows how to do this? They talk about modifying the Q Matrix and GOP to produce kdvd compliant videos but MMC 8.5 does not have the Q Matrix settings and does close gop but I don't know what program does them both?

Hi dvd_maniac,

Only some high end MPEG-1/2 hardware encoder manufacturers will let you change these sort of settings on their hardware encoder cards. I believe ATI is not one of then.
