still following this thread with interest...

yes... it really is a shame that Musepack is not further supported by hardware or other soft.
I personally prefer it over the "wanna be better" Mpeg-PLUS.

...but... erm... think we are going straight offtopic now...

If you like = we can discuss the MORE audio-related things via mail or another forum (where this belongs to)

as mentioned before = I am currently treating my compressor to even squeez out more bytes than it actually does (and that up to 16h a day...)
please don't get me wrong... you maybe know HOW BAD it is getting out of your "flow" so I am currently NOT able (better said willing) to test anything else than my own thing... just to avoid loosing my "flow"...

so to say = I can't provide any other "test" results / findings than those I've come up with until now...

AFTER hacking my compressor to the level I want it to be... I maybe can come up with some new ones... If you or others will not be faster... hehehe

so long... and I really appreciate your efforts and help hans-jürgen!

That's fine with me, because now I am in the midst of listening tests again... ;) I will publish my results in the Audiocoding.com forum when I'm through with it, and that will probably take at least this weekend.

I'm done with the first part (Mahler.wav), now I'm listening to ct_reference.wav.
