I'm backing up Ran (NTSC) and used the Subrip guide here on doom9.. After importing the movie IFO, the 'clear text', 'view text' and 'reset' fields are greyed out (.bmp is the default).. the subtitle field at the very top defaults to "..English, ???". so i proceed to click 'start', subrip processes, but does not give me the output prompt screens (to choose Maestro output and to crop appropriatel to 720x480).. ??
when i navigate to where i saved the .bmp file, there's nothing..?? i go to the original 'video_ts' file, containing the complete menu, movie (8 .vob files) and extras and notice the following: subrip created 8 .srm files for each of the 8 .vob movie files.. this is nothing like what the guide outlines..
Where did i go wrong or what am i missing.. Please advise. Thanks!
Oh, my OS is Win2k, if it matters..
Edit: One other question: What is the purpose of ripping (demux stream) a subtitle with DVD Decrypter?? Maestro will not accept Decrypter's output file.. What's the trick to make it work??
