Subrip and fragmented characters

Hi.

I've searched the forum but can't find anyone with my problem.

Sometimes Subrip only selects a part of a character and wants me to identify it. For example, the letter "W" can on some DVDs be identified as "\", "v" and "/", three parts. Is there any way I can force Subrip to understand that these three pieces are in fact ONE character?

Yes, check out the Advanced OCR setup options, and play around with the values there for a bit.

First of all though, upgrade to the latest version.
