HELP~Video has STRIPES

The DVD is fine. I watched it with PowerDVD and DVD Player.
But after I used DVD Decrypter to rip the vob files (IFO mode), I played the files and they have large stripes on the images. Does DVD Decrypter affect the quality of the video? It does not happen on other DVDs I have.:confused:

oh i found the problem
i played it with Zoomplayer after ripping the DVD. There are stripes on the video. then i tried to play it with PowerDVD, it works again! Zoomplayer works fine on all other VOB and DivX/XviD codec files. I wonder what is the problem.

This is called interlacing. PowerDVD deinterlaces the Video, Zoomplayer doesn't.

The problem is I converted vob to XviD codec (set tele inverse since it's NTSC) but ZoomPlayer still cannot correctly view the avi file.
