why cant we have more info on using dvd2svcd, converting avi to svcd

There is a ton of info on the subject. What's lacking is, regrettably, a tooth-fairy remodelling that powers out 10,000 pages of n00b-ready content at the press of a button. We payed Santa heavily last year, but the cheap guy just didn't deliver. *sigh* Maybe Doom9 will model us the uber-knowledgable-n00b-enlightener one of these days. He's cooler than Santa anyway.

IOW: Why don't you do some reading of your own? I've read all 4 of your posts so far, and each of them is truly laughable. 1/2 your current post total has been in all caps. And while this is a true sign of wisdom in the animal kingdom, we people don't tend to honor such assumed respect. Likewise, each post shed an incredible sense of "I don't wanna do it, so you people do it for me, or else!" on me (with irregular cApS and AOL-n00b-style 'U's in place of 'you's, as applicable).

In conclusion, the search button is there for a reason. As is your brain. Make use of both - perhaps even at the same time - and marvelous things can happen.

thanks for your advice, i will do more reading and more searching.After all when you are a newbie and don't know that much about the different software sometimes alittle help sets you on the right path.
