Hi,

I have got a question about converting demo files from cs to avi. the normal procedure is creating A LOT of bmps for every frame and putting them into one video with aviedit. but I asked myself whether capturing is maybe a better method. the way would be: 1.playing the demo in cs and 2. recording it to an avi. but I do not know a program for this. does someone have a suggestion for this? or is it impossible to do this?

Hi,

Are the demo files some kind of animated movies ?
Instead of capturing you should try to convert it somehow.
With Diablo 2 we had some, think it was *.bik files. I used Bik Extractor or so - worked fine...

If you dont find it, I can look for the real name of this program (it was freeware), but not these days, cause i dont have my computer here :(
