is there a way to adjust video controls (hue, sat.) WHILE capturing with firewire?

i use either premiere or vegas 4.0 to do dv caps but can't find any of these video controls.

normally, i just use avisynth to adjust these settings to my liking after i cap but i find that this takes a while. i believe you can do this with vdub if you capture using vdub but vdub doesn't support dv caps.

also, i know that some tbcs do this as well but i don't want to dish out more money for this if i don't have to.

is there some other dv cap software that allows you to adjust these settings as you do a dv capture?

DV capture is all digital, meaning it's just a series of bits that are being transferred. It's not viewing a video and then writing it to a file; it's like copying the 'file' from the camera and writing it to the HD.
