how to join xvid and vorbis??

i want to join an avi with xvid video andwithout audio with an audio ogg vorbis file

i wasn't albe to do it with mencoder couse it seems that it can't copy the stream...
any suggestion??

the final container can be avi, ogg or wathever you want=)

try ogm or matroska:D , rip with mencoder and then join with ogmtools or mkvtoolnix

i encoded audio with ogg123 encoder
video with xvid and mencoder and i get an avi file
then what souhld i do?
i try oggmerge but it doesn't know how to read an avi file.......
please help me

What you mean with ogmmertge doesnt know how to read an avi???
Which line do you use to encode the movie???

This is what i do:
ogmmerge -o Merged-movie.ogm -A movie.avi audio.ogg
