Well, i'm currenyly looking for a rather cheap but good (aren't we all?) camera that can shoot progressive. Straight to the tape not to any external device or anything. Need your help, and i think most readers would love a list like this.

Ok, let's start the list:

1. Canon MV3

1. Canon GL-2 (NTSC) or Canon MV-3 (PAL). Same cam, different versions.

2. Sony DCR-VX2000 (progressive can only go @ 15 fps)

3. Canon XL1S (NTSC), not sure what the PAL version is called, or if there is a PAL version at all.

4. Panasonic AG-DVX100 (NTSC), not sure what the PAL version is called, or if there is a PAL version at all. This cam can go progressive @ 24 fps (FILM framerate), as well as progressive @ 30 fps, and maybe also 15 fps.

All of the above cams can also shoot in interlaced mode. There are a few other progressive cams as well... (I think)
