i have a few MiniDV tapes with BAD dv audio. what is there is in the background and sounds fine unfiltered (using a mac and imovie) but there is this BAD digital noise that is horrible. when u filter it, (an option in imovie) every time there is that digital noise the audio cuts in and out... so that is not useable at all. im trying to use cool edit pro on a PC to fix the problem but im not getting good results... i could go analog but thats not an option cause i do not have the equiptment at work to do it. ( audio is still bad but not as bad... just get poping and cliping which can be fixed in cool edit pro.
