Something very strange is going on here. I just reinstalled Windows XP Pro from scratch. THe system is perfectly clean other than Premiere. When I play a DV-AVI file in Windows Media Player, it is much more darker than it always was (overlay controls are all at 100% which is default). BUT when I turn on Premiere and load one of DV Profiles, it somehow adjusts the system that now the Windows Media Player plays DV-AVIs the way they should be until Premiere goes off. What's going on here. I want my DV-AVIs to play at the correct brightness level all the time. Any ideas?
