I'm about to destroy a computer lab after a failed effort to find a tool to split a rv9 file in half.
I know RMeditor can do it by time, but the beauty of RMVB means that the halfway point in the video is probably not the halfway point in the file.
Any ideas?
RM editor?? You are referring to Helix RealMedia Editor or what??
I don't see where is the problem for cutting the RM half with RealMedia Editor.
Although i must admit the lack of editing abality with RV9. However its quality ( anime :D ) will coverback what you have loss.....

@Dr. S: even though RMVB is VBR, it is not extreme VBR. In AutoRV9 you select a filesize to cut at, which AutoRV9 translates into a time to use for rmeditor, and due to the VBR being limited by the buffer size (limiting the "error" at the cut point), it works well enough.. at least if you give a little slack in the filesize, i.e. 1390 MB total, cut at 695 MB.
