View Full Version : Keep interlace problems - asynch and freezing video

Is anyone else having trouble with interlace encoding? I tried encoding a pure interlaced source using the setting "Keep interlaced" and have ended up with all kinds of crazy things happening. The first time I tried it the audio didn't start till 30 seconds into the clip. I then remuxed, unchecking the add svcd scan offsets box, which fixed the audio synch problem, but now the video freezes on the first frame. If I try to manually advance through the clip, I lose the audio again. I also tried changing the movie offset back to 2 seconds (I had it set to 0) and same freezing problem occurs.

Clip plays fine if a do ITVC instead of keeping inerlaced.

Here's my logfile:

I don't know what happened. If use a different bbmpeg (still beta 13, just in a different folder on my drive), it works. Very strange. I've also been having the audio not play at all. The mpv file will be lets say 10mb, the two audio files will be 1 mb each and the muxed file is 12mb (10+1+1=12), so the audio did get muxed with the video. The audio, however, does not play when played with WinDVD. I didn't burn it to disc to try on my stand alone.
