i have been ripping Anime DVD for a while, but just realised lately that even tho the first 5 min of the anime is in sync with sub after a while sub slowly falls behind.
i had to IVTC which means frames are taken out so as more frames are dropped thru out the anime the frames and the sub timming are out.

Is there anyway to fix up the sub sync without going thru the sub line by line and correct the timing?

thanx for ur time.

Well one method your could use is with SubResync get the times for where subs should be placed and it will Interpolate the subs to hopefully give you correct timing.. So read the docs. Also what type of subs are you using? just the idx/sub files or a framebased. (Since time based shouldn't give you a problem)

Do you use AVIsynt for the IVTC? If so, then place the Sub-Titles into the Video BEFORE doing the IVTC.

Actually I would Recommend NOT doing that.. Because for IVTC you don't want the video modified at all. You shouldn't crop or resize the video before IVTC.
