Hello,
Just to enhance my knowledge I’m posting this:
I suspect the latest DVD Decr. ver. 3.1.6.0 is not so perfect. It ripped fine my kid's Pinocchio everything but first several minutes with a song and the titles as still images. The still images were zooming in and out and song was skipping. I found this problem on the final copy playing on Sony DVD as well as on computer playing with Power DVD. But NOT with windows media player! Very strange! Also Shek ripped with DVD Decr. Cannot be read by DVD toolbox or IC7.
Both movies re-copied fine using smart ripper.
Guys, any thoughts?

just make sure you're ripping using the same method in each program. Otherwise, its not a fair to compare the two.

If you ripped in Movie mode in smartripper, you must rip in IFO mode in DVD Decrypter.

I dont know anything about dvd toolbox, but I know for InstantCopy you should rip ALL the files in File mode.

Thanks for replying. I ripped so far 5 discs only, using DVD Decr. file mode/select all, DVDtoolbox to remove extra audio and IC7 to compress and burn directly to DVD. In Shrek & Pinocchio DVD Decr. substituted by Sm. Ripper. With Shrek ripped by DVD Decr. i got a message "corrupted disc" if i was trying to feed directly to IC7 (ripped twice) but had no problem using SmartRipper. I'm sure files got corrupted after DVD Decr3.1.6.0 .

hello, all

i tried to explain this problem above, but my english wasn't good enough. i have just asked someone who is not a "dvd pro" to explain in his own words what he thinks the problem is (or what he sees the problem to be). i'm making a backup of my kids' dvd's only because they are deteriorating. i've never done made copies of movies, cartoons only (excluding Mary Poppins which came out fine). i always use the same method -- DVD region "1" to dvd decryptor/dvd toolbox/ic7. all software is updated. in the dvd decryptor, i strip everything but the main movie and english language/subtitles. in more than half of the disks i made so far, after using dvd decriptor, i run into a problem -- in the beginning (VTS_01_1.vob), when the credits are running(with a song), the picture and the sound "stick", or sound like a broken record. the image zooms in and out a little, and flickers. as soon as the credits end and the introductory music is over, the rest of the dvd is fine all the way to the end. do you have any ideas what's going on and do you have any suggestions?

i found that problem appears only on Disney cartoons and this video and sound skipping is actually spanish and english title change each other. Can be avoided by using IC7.1.1
