Black bars on the sides...please help

Hi,

I've encoded an NTSC Widescreen anamorphic - 2.00:1 DVD (I got this info from Amazon.com) into an NTSC SVCD but when I play it back in PowerDVD the aspect ratio of the movie is fine but I have black bars on the left & right of the picture. They aren't there in the original DVD picture.

I'm using DVD2SVCD 1.1.3 build 2 and I chose "16:9, borders added, encode as 4:3" as my aspect ratio setting.

How can I get rid of the black bars?
