Enable TVOut 4 radeon8500 in linux?

I want to enable tvout with my radeon under linux or more specifically with MovieX or Womp but i guess this is a linux driver issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated for a windblows user:)

The only application for this purpose I'm aware of is called atitvout (http://www.google.com/search?q=atitvout&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0), which may or may not work with your Radeon card. I can't get it to work with my 7500 Mobility -- and it looks like the application hasn't been updated in some time.

Thanks jggimi for your suggestion.I also thought of trying the bios mod app and setting theater mode with it,i'll let you know.
