dvd authoring

Hi, im new to this section of the forum. I have been doing dvd9 to dvd5 on windows for quite a while. I'd like to start a convo about linux dvd authoring tools. I am aware of several good free source ripping/encoding tools but I have yet to come across anything that can remux. I would like to write something for linux that is similar to doitfastforu. If anyone has any ideas feel free.
