;)hi
I have read the rules, the faq, and...search the forum, and found 6 threads about my problem, but none of them could give me a basic idea of what's the problem is.

I have succesfull converted more clips using virtual dub -> frameserveing to TMPGEnc, but now I'm also getting this error:

"The error occurred when ACM was initialized"
"Illegal Floting decimal Point calculation order"

What I learned from the other treads is that it's probably an audio/codec problem, but I really need to be pused in the right direction, anyone? tia
Kim
(and if someone could learn me english... sss)

Please edit the subject before someone will really start bashing you around:)

The first error message is due to audio codec problems. Maybe you should treat audio separately and disable it while frameserving.

What comes to the second error, it could be just about anything. TMPGEnc doesn't like DivX or XviD files much.

Hi and thanks for your reply :),
Yes it really was an audio codec problem, tried to disable sound and everything worked well, but I can't figure out whats wrong.
Gspot reports all ok, and WMP plays the clip without any errors. Virtualdub also plays the clip with sound (using Lame MP3 codec) it's only when I'm frameserving to TMPGEnc it goes wrong, the strange thing here is that I've been able to do it just a week ago :) (Maybe some installation that ruined it)

About the subject, as you already learned :) my english isn't perfect, and it wasn't my intention to offend anyone, on the contrary, it was only meant as a slick way to get people to read my post.

It could have been a different audio format. You really don't want to use TMPGEnc's internal audio encoder anyway. Use BeSweet or tooLAME. And like I said, TMPGEnc doesn't like XviD or DivX. Lots of people have had problems with that content. Did you use VirtualDubMod's error scanning? That could prove to be useful.

That might be true but the rules state that you should use a subject which describes your post/problem. There's a huge amount of posts to read every day and subjects like that just won't help anybody. I warned you because I know that the mods will get to that one unless you do it yourself.
