I had to encode a anime in two parts using VDubMod 1.1.5.1a

I encoded them both without sound in regular avi format (in XViD)

When I open them, I get a "Parsing Ogg media file" (why Ogg media if there's no sound ? I found it strange straight ahead)

When I try to append the second clip to the first, I get a "Cannot Append Segment : The segment has a different number of streams" error message

Any idea ?

a) this belongs into the virtualdub(mod) forum
b) try to remove all streams that show up in the streams box then do a direct stream copy with each of your segments saving them to avi again. then try to append them again.

edit: oh, btw: an ogg media file does not necessarily contain audio. it is just a container for audio and video like avi or matroska.

hope this helps
