Question from a new XviD fan...

Hi everybody in this cool forum !

A have one (i think "newbie") question.
I dont have any problems with Xvid encoding, but
when i check the properties of the .AVI file,
the "Video sample size" field shows every time 12 bit.
The other movies i've check they have always 24 bit video sample size
Why ? May be the problem i my mistake or what?
Please somebody to explain me...

most applications just write 24bit and that's it.
Normal mpeg4 is 12bit, so it's no problem ;)

It takes time for people to learn the forum rules. People make mistakes, growth occurs when we learn from our past mistakes so as to not repeat them in the future.

I don't condone ppl asking stupid questions, but I must admit, that sometimes I learn a lot from the silly questions that other ppl ask.
