capturing backwards

Id like to re-capture an mpg i have, but in reverse Once i save the file can I play it backwards and "re capture" it? any programs to do that?

I am not sure if you are using avisynth or not, but it has a Reverse (http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=Reverse) command that should do what you want. Then you can encode your video into whatever format you want.
