Copying and pasting tags in virtualdubmod

Hi,

I often copy and paste the description tags, say a signature tag. But I can't do that in the latest vdubmod. I'm too lazy to type the signature out each time.

If someone has time, could they please look into this.

Could you go a bit more into detail (= post the exact steps that dont work)? It seems to work ok here.

I normally add a joke for the video description. Something like:

One day, a group of 3 people found a magic lamp. They rub and rub, and out pops a genie, The genie says "Since I can only grant 3 wishes, you may each have one" So the brunette says,"I've been stuck here for years. I miss my family,my husband, and my life, I wanna go home" and POOF, the brunette gets her wish and she is returned with her family.Then, the redhead says." I've been stuck here for years as well. I wish I could go home too" and POOF, the redhead gets her wish and she is returned to her family. The blonde start crying like a banshee. The genie asks "My dear, what's the matter?" The blonde whispers, " I wish my friends were here."

I normally have this joke stored in a txt file. So normally I would just copy and paste it into the video description tag.

ie. Streams->Video Comments->description

The problem is that when I right click on the "Value" field, the context menu doesn't pop up. Which means I don't have the paste option on the context menu. So this just means that if I want to add that joke in the description field, it means I have to type it all out from scratch.

Ah! I'll look into it. For now just use the keyboard shourtcut for paste (Ctrl+V), that works =)

EDIT: Ok, I found what's the matter. The trouble is these edit boxes are infact richedits (needed to support Unicode), which for some reason don't have the right click menu. You'll have to live with the keyboard shortcut I'm afaid.
