View Full Version : Gknot throws error - virtualdub can't compress video

It says that "source image format not acceptable" (error code -2). Its a DV captured AVI and I have installed the Canopus DV codec which shows for dvsd. VirtualDubMod as well as Nandub can open and preview the file.

Don't know what am I doing wrong. Please help.

(edit: another thing is if I don't go thru open->"save&encode" path, GKnot creates a compressed AVI fine, but I want to run some filters. So, need to use open->Save&Encode.)

found what I was doing wrong.
