TDK 4x DVD+R

Yesterday I was at BB and picked up 100 of the Fuji's that were on special. Today it was raining and with nothing to do went back to BB to get some more. They were out and as I was leaving I passed a shelve that had 100 packs of TDK-R 2x speed on it. I picked it up and behind them were 100 packs of TDK 4x DVD+R packs. I asked the salesman to scan them and he was shocked to see them at $189.00. He hid a pack for himself and I picked up 2 packs. I burned a movie at 4x in my HP300i when I got home. Took just under 15 minutes. Nice DVD's. Was this a good price?

Sounds pretty good to me.

I'd expect to pay approximately £189 Sterling, so if the Dollar is approximately 0.66 to The Pound, then it seems to me you've done rather well.

$1.89 for a 4x DVD+R sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me especially since it's major brand. I don't recall seeing any 4x major brand disc for such a low price.
